Buy is set to compete at two World Cup events in Germany throughout May and June as well as the World Championships in Slovenia in August.
"Worlds are end game for this season and also the World Cups are often good enjoyable," the 24-year-old told BBC Oxford.
"We're racing at Hamburg for the first time on a new course so it'll be excellent."
The very first World Cup event of the summer takes location in Munich on 29 May possibly with the second becoming hosted in Hamburg on 17 June.
The British rowing squad will then travel to Bled, Slovenia for the World Championships on 28 August.
Purchase has put himself in a strong position to win medals in the course of the summer season having won the lightweight men's scull at the Fantastic British rowing trials at Dorney Lake last weekend.
